Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday November 8th

November 8th 2022, 2:57pm, By: Michael Lee

Esports Betting Tips

Michael Lee returns with his esports betting predictions for three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive matches on Tuesday, November 8. Today he looks at a meeting between Dynamo Eclot and Into the Breach at European Development Championship Season 6 and two ESL Challenger League EU Season 43 matches in 9INE vs forZe and FTW vs AGO.

Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday November 8th

Dynamo Eclot vs Into The Breach

European Development Championship Season 6

Dynamo Eclot and Into the Breach will meet on the battlefield on Tuesday, November 8, in the first round of Group B at European Development Championship Season 6. It will be Dynamo Eclot’s first meeting with Into the Breach since March 2022, when they won 2-0 during Pinnacle Winter Series #3, but since the teams have undergone roster changes since then, we shouldn’t focus too much on that result.

Dynamo Eclot enter the tournament with a 50% win rate over their last six matches, with wins against Universe (16-12), eSuba (2-1), and Enterprise esports (2-0). Meanwhile, their losses came against SINNERS Esports (0-2), HONORIS (1-2), and Young Ninjas (1-2).

With those results, it’ hard to feel optimistic about Dynamo Eclot; however, Into The Breach’s run is even worse. ITB have won just two of their last eight matches – against Wolsung (2-1) and 7AM (16-4), but have been far less successful against AGO (1-2), 1WIN (1-2), Ungentium (0-2), HONORIS (1-2), and Viperio (5-16).

Their defeat against Viperio stands out since Viperio are a third-tier team against who ITB shouldn’t be losing games, let alone reach only five rounds. But that loss was just the pinnacle of Into The Breach’s streak of shaky showings, stretching over the last couple of months.

Until I see some improvement from Into The Breach, I’ll continue to doubt them. This is a spot where you have to take Dynamo Eclot.

9INE vs ForZe

ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe

The rising Polish squad 9INE will take on an established Russian CS:GO team forZe in the second round upper bracket match at ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe in what should be a highly entertainting team. 9INE enter the match in great form, having won seven of their last nine matches, which includes wins against Bad News Eagles (2-0), HEET (2-1), 1WIN (2-1), AGO (2-0), and BLUEJAYS, who 9INE defeated in the finals of ESL Challenger League Season 42.

ForZe have won five of their last eight outings, with wins against ECSTATIC (2-0), Astralis (2-0), IKLA (2-1), HAVU (2-0), and Fnatic Rising (2-0). But they’ve also lost against Copenhagen Flames (0-2), Tricked Esports (1-2), and Bad News Eagles (1-2).

ForZe’s record looks better, but only due to their victory against the shaky Astralis. But if we take that match away – which was a fluke win anyway – forZe have’t really shown much more than 9INE.

It seems like the esports betting sites have priced this match more based on the brand value than the team’s quality. And even though you could still say that forZe can be stronger, I haven’t seen enough from them to bet on forZe at the offered odds. Value is with 9INE!

For The Win Esports vs AGO Esports

ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe

For The Win Esports and AGO will clash in the second ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe upper bracket round two match of the day in what should be a pretty scrappy affair.

AGO entered the event in a very concerning form. Having lost four straight games against Anonymo (5-16), Tricked Esports (0-2), 9INE (0-2) and HAVU (0-2). But they found some success in the opening round, where AGO defeated Team Falcons 2-0.

For The Win Esports hold a 3-2 record from their last five matches with wins against ENTERPRISE esports (2-0), SC (2-0), and Movistar Riders (2-1). But they’ve also lost against Dynamo Eclot (1-2) and Ungentium (0-2). Yet despite holding a better win%, FTW are considered underdogs for this match.

I wouldn’t mind the betting odds have AGO been playing better leading into the ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe. They looked solid in round one, but the Falcons are in disastrous form (1-6), so beating them is hardly an achievement.

I have low expectations for both teams, and I wouldn’t be surprised if FTW edge out a win. And even if they fail to upset AGO, the Portuguese squad should at least win one map. Take over 2.5 maps!
