Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday November 15th

November 15th 2022, 12:43pm, By: Michael Lee

Esports Betting Tips

Michael Lee is back with his esports betting previews for three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive matches on Tuesday, November 15. Today, he looks at three European Development Championship Season 6 matches in K23 vs Dynamo Eclot, 9INE vs HONORIS, and forZe vs Tricked Esports.

Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday November 15th

K23 vs Dynamo Eclot

European Development Championship Season 6

Dynamo Eclot qualified for European Development Championship Season 6 playoffs by topping  Group B. They placed ahead of Copenhagen Flames, Into the Breach and ESTOWNIA, with wins against ITB (16-6) and Copenhagen Flames (2-1).

Dynamo Eclot were clearly the best team in their group, but they needed to produce a reverse sweep against Copenhagen Flames, who they beat 16-19, 16-9, 22-20. It wasn't the cleanest performance, but Dynamo Eclot made it work.

K23 didn't have to compete in the group stage as they received a direct invite into the playoffs, and that could be a problem, seeing how K23 haven't played an official match in two weeks. They were last active during ESL Challenger League Season 43: Europe on November 1, when they lost 0-2.

Moreover, that match was only their ninth since the start of October, so it's fair to say that K23 are rusty. Besides that, it'a also hard to say K23 are any stronger than Dynamo Eclot, considering they have won just two of their last nine fixtures, and even those came against AGO and Monte.

Dynamo Eclot are not regarded as highly as K23, but they've shown better results lately and are, in my book, a good bet at evens or better.

9INE vs HONORIS

European Development Championship Season 6

9INE enter European Development Championship Season 6 following a phenomenal performance at ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe, which they won at the end of October without any major issues. Since then, 9INE have produced a mixed bag of results but are still in the green with a 70% win rate (7-3).

HONORIS also won a tournament in October, but only ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2022 #3, which isn't too impressive. They also competed in ESEA Advanced Cash Cup: Europe - 2022 #22 earlier this month but failed to show anything noteworthy, crashing out of the event in fifth-eighth place.

So even though HONIORIS are 8-2 over their last ten matches, they haven't beaten any strong teams, and their only notable victory over that stretch came against Dynamo Eclot at the end of October.

Considering the teams' recent success doesn't surprise me to see esports betting sites pricing HONORIS as 2.37 underdogs. But we must ponder that HONORIS and 9INE are both Polish squads.

Meetings between two teams from the same country tend to be much close than expected, mainly because the teams know each others' strengths and weaknesses, which often favours the underdogs. But even with that in mind, I don't see how HONORIS can win a map, let alone the series. At 2.75, 9INE to win 2-0 is a much more appealing bet.

forZe vs Tricked Esports

European Development Championship Season 6

Since the benching of Aleksandr "KENSI" Gurkin and Evgeniy "Norwi" Ermolin, forZe have yet to find permanent replacements. Instead, the Russian squad will play with stand-ins Amin "sugaR" Azimov and Evgeniy "Aunkere" Karyat, who have already played a couple of matches for the team.

With forZe, sugar and Aunkere played two ESL Challenger League Season 43: Europe matches against Fnatic Rising and 9INE and won both, 2-0 and 2-1, respectively. Neither player had a standout performance, but I can't say that they were holding their team back, either.

Tricked Esports also made a roster change in October when they acquired Magnus "Nodios" Olsen, but I wouldn't consider that roster move to be very impactful. Tricked have not looked any better with the new member, nor have they started performing worse – they're the same team.

ForZe and Tricked already met during CCT North Europe Series #1 on October 22, when Tricked won 2-1, but they're 2.37 underdogs for this match. This mainly has to do with Tricked's unconvincing performances over the last couple of weeks, which saw them lose against Astralis Talent, Illuminar Gaming, and 500.

This match is tough to predict because we have seen forZe play with their new roster only twice. Still, I wasn't convinced with Tricked and what they've shown over the last three weeks, and since they're individually weaker, it's not too crazy to believe that forZe can sweep.
