About ZBet
ZBet is a 100% Australian owned online bookmaker, operating out of Melbourne, Victoria. They offer sports and racing markets on both domestic and interntaional competitions, They are licensed members of the Victorian Bookmakers Assocition, which guaranteed payment of all winning bets with their members.
Founded in early 2021, ZBet has the potential to become a real player in the Australian online betting scene. Watch this space.
ZBet Betting Markets
ZBet is still in it's infancy, so the number of markets, particularly sports betting markets, can be left wanting a little at times. For example, they have around 15-20 markets for an AFL match, which is low compared to the 150-200 that a bigger company like Sportsbet has. Their range of sports is quite good, offering markets on AFL, NRL, Soccer, Tennis, MLB, NFL, Cricket, Golf and a range of other fringe sports.
Racing is where ZBet more resembles one of the bigger players in the Australian betting scene. They offer a great range of domestic and international racing in thoroughbreads, harness and greyhounds.
ZBet Features
ZBet have some solid features that set it apart from their counterparts. ZBet TV is a 24/7 racing channel that focuses in on international races, which can be really useful when you can't find your race on either of the Sky Racing channels.
ZBet also has a great 'next up' ticker at the top of the page, which allows you to quickly view the upcoming races and sort them measily into the three racing categories.
ZBet Website
The ZBet website is where it excels over the other new bookmakers in the industry. Typically, new online bookmakers enter the space with a pretty clunky and difficult to use website and often without a mobile app at all. ZBet's website is already a really slick looking and smooth app to use, which really makes a differece, especially if you're trying to place a bet quickly before a race starts.
They have the standard three panel system, which shows the main menu on the left, betting markets in the middle and current betslip and pending bets on the right hand side. They also have tabs to view ZBet TV and live chat in both of the bottom corners of the homepage.
ZBet Mobile App
The ZBet app is also incredibly advanced considering how new the company is, and hte fact that they offer one at all is a big plus when comparing them to the other new bookmakers sprouting up in Australia.
You can view ZBet TV straight off the mobile app, which is a great feature for watching races on the go. The current promotions are also easily viewable on the app.
