How Does UPC Showdown Work?

Racing

Racing Showdowns are usually spread over a selection of races from a couple of race meetings each day. It's a "set and forget" format where you pick who you think will win in each of the nominated races. You'll earn points if your horse finishes in the top 3 placings in a race based on the Tote odds for the race. So if your horse win, you'll get the Win odds plus the Place odds in the form of points for the Showdown, while 2nd and 3rd in the race will receive the Place odds.

Whoever earns the most points during the nominated races will receive the top prize, while smaller consolation prizes are paid out for the other top places in the Showdown. UPC Showdown contests are usually quite top-heavy with their payouts, so winning is definitely the goal.

There are regular freerolls if you want to try your hand at the format and see how it works with bonus prizes awarded.

Sports

NRL and AFL Showdown contests are available at the moment and work a bit like a Same Game Multi.

You'll be presented with a number of different options across a number of games to pick your Same Game Multi. This will be markets like who you think will win the match, as well as first goal/try scorer. Make your selections and for every one of them that lands, the odds will be multiplied together to give you your Showdown points total.

Whoever earns the most points will take home the top prize in the Showdown! This is a great way to get a huge payout for your same game multi!

Quick Pick

If you're not too sure on who to pick, or you're just in a hurry, you can go with the Quick Pick option. Much like a Quick Pick in Tattslotto works, you'll be given some random selections to fill your lineup.
