Northam Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 4 – 4:04pm WST (7.04pm EDT)
A competitive fourth and fifth grade event where Cecil Benz and Kabo’s Winlock can show good early speed. Cecil Benz is the greyhound that I like here from box four. He ran second at Cannington over the 275m when running 16.15 behind Thermistocles. Prior to that, Cecil Benz had won in 16.14 in a sixth-grade race. This is a tougher race but his early speed and the time that he can run should see him right in this race.
Race 6 – 4.48pm WST (7:48pm AEDT)
Shinboner should begin quickly from box two and his early speed should see him ahead of Nothing To Prove in the red rug. Uneducated can also begin well from out wide. Shinboner has been placed at his past three starts without winning; that could change as this looks a suitable race and is a drop in class. I am concerned about Mjolnirs Might who I would easily have had on top a couple of months ago. It should be a great race but give the edge to Shinboner.
Race 9 – 5.47pm WST (8:47pm AEDT)
Just A Mystery comes up with the inside box and despite only being a field of five runners, this race has two key chances – Just A Mystery and Crocodile Flow. Charos Moscow is in the market but haven’t seen enough just yet to suggest she is better than the leading pair. Just A Mystery hopes to break the maiden at start number 14. He has been placed five times, including a pair of second-placings at his past two. If he can get the early jump on Crocodile Flow, then he will prove hard to run down.
