June 15th 2020, 9:27am, By: Michael Lee

We are winding down a blockbuster weekend of sport but there is still plenty of esports action to look forward to this Monday night! We have a full preview and betting tips for the key matchups in esports on Monday night below.

Esports Betting Tips: Monday, June 15th

FlyToMoon vs Team Empire

Beyond Epic: Europe/CIS

After reaching the second round of ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online: Europe & CIS playoffs, FlyToMoon are now set to make some noise at Beyond Epic 2020. FlyToMoon have been putting up some solid results, which include wins over Vikin.gg, Empire Hope and Ninjas in Pyjamas, as well as three-map series against VP, VP.Prodigy and Alliance.

Team Home (previously Team Empire Hope) have been picking up wins left and right throughout the recent weeks, and while most of their wins came from Tier-3 competitions, Empire not long ago defeated OG.Seed, Vikin.gg, Khan and Family Team, which are all of a similar quality as FlyToMoon and show that this team is more than capable of facing their next opponents.

Although Team Empire lost their most recent meeting with FlyToMoon, they have shown a lot of quality in recent weeks and should not be underestimated heading into this bout. Expect Team Empire to win at least one map

HAVU vs North

ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe Qualifier

Both teams are coming into the match with three wins out of the last five matches; HAVU won against hREDS, OG and SJ but lost against Gambit Youngsters and Virtus.pro. North, on the other side, have won against Singularity, HellRaisers and Movistar Riders but lost against forZe and GODSENT.

There are no previous matches between these two teams so it makes little sense for North to be priced as high as they are right now. Neither of these two teams are in good form and it seems HAVU are being priced as favourites only because of their performances at BLAST Rising 2020 and FLASHPOINT League, where yes, they did get some impressive results but considering they were playing against low-calibre of teams, those performances mean little when faced against a future top-20 team like North.

North are not exactly living up to the expectation with their results in the online world of CS, but considering they had to go through a sudden roster change they are playing better than expected. This match feels like a complete coin toss but if HAVU don't enter this match with the same confidence they showed against low-tier teams, North will be coming away with a win without much hassle. Value bet on North.

BIG vs Spirit

ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe Qualifier

The last time these two teams met was back in April in the finals of the Home Sweet Home Cup Season 2, where BIG managed to come away with a close 2-1 win.

BIG opened the series with an extremely close 16-14 win on Dust2 but let their foot off the gas on Inferno, where Spirit came away and forced the series to go into the third map. BIG bounced back on Mirage, where they kept Spirit at only four maps and with that confidently secured a hard-fought win. Ismailcan 'XANTARES' Dörtkardeş was the best players on the server with a total of 62 frags along with an amazing 1.31 HLTV score, while Nikolay 'mir' Bityukov carried Spirit with 61 frags and 1.29 HLTV rating.

Although we can expect BIG entering this match with high confidence following their amazing run at DreamHack Masters Spring campaign, where they took down G2, I still don't believe there is a lot to separate them from Spirit. Most of the previous matches were incredibly close and considering BIG will surely celebrate their win over one of the strongest European teams with a beer or two, Spirit just might surprise the overly-confident BIG once more.

Spirit have no business being priced as high as they are for this match, making them a great longshot bet. Value bet on Spirit.

FaZe vs ENCE

BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Finals

ENCE have gone improved immensely since they freshened up their roster and now finally look like a proper team. The Finns are coming into this match after finished their run through BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown without a single defeat, while they took down sAw, Astralis, mousesports and MAD Lions, as well as produced two draws against Vitality and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

FaZe also made a roster change a couple of weeks ago and so far their newest addition bymas failed to show up across multiple matches. While he is still a young player and should improve as the time goes on, we should give him some slack for his mediocre showings. Anyway, FaZe won five out of last seven matches played at the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – Europe, where they defeated GODSENT, Spirit, Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Natus Vincere, but lost twice to the eventual DreamHack Masters Spring champions, BIG Clan.

Neither of these two teams are exactly top tier and both have a lot of room for improvement, however, considering FaZe are still working on integrating bymas into the roster, I have to side with the Finns to win this match. ENCE have been playing well for their standards and as long as Jamppi can continue playing at this high level, ENCE should come out ahead here. Bet on ENCE to win.
