The Moe Cup is today's feature race in Australia, with racing also at Kembla Grange in NSW. Luke Krahe has done the form for both meetings and offered his best bets below, including his preview of the feature race.

Kembla Grange Race 2 (Market)
The betting may tell us that it looks an open race and any one of the small field is a hope, but I am very confident that (4) Brazenpine can get us off to a good start today. She has had two runs back since resuming off a maiden win, she resumed here at the track and got a mile back, was slightly held-up before angling clear and storming home with the best last 600m of the race and just missed. She then went to Gosford, again settled back and ran on hard to win. She wasn’t entitled to after finding trouble when the runs came approaching the home turn, she recovered to run past them, a tough thing to do there at the Central Coast track when you lose momentum. The small field looks to suit, he will be last in the run but finishing best.
Moe Race 4 (Market)
(2) Aree Al gets out to the mile for the first time at career start number four. He was just behind the speed before running on too well to win on debut, beaten under a length at start two after getting back and getting very wide before attacking the line hard. He was very easy in the betting as favourite last time, sat up on the speed three-wide without cover and although he wasn’t beaten far, he was there to win. He gets a stack of minor gear changes, has the inside alley so hopefully the y can kick through and be ion the speed. He may need a little luck if he doesn’t lead, but he will have the most economical run off the rails draw.
Moe Race 7 (Market)
The Moe Cup is the feature of the day, a 2050m handicap that has assembled a handy field. (5) Single Handed has had two runs back this prep, he ran on well at Bendigo fresh in a race where he may not have been suited by the way the race was run. She then went to Adelaide to contest the Tokyo City Cup at Listed level stepping up to the mile, sat up outside the speed and ran on well when asked the question. There was money for him at big odds that day, this looks no harder and stepping up to the 2000m today expect that he will push on early and be on the speed for a long way. (4) Masculino will also be going forward, he has been up for a long time and was supported last start when getting run down in town. He must be respected and should start the favourite. The winner could come from which of these two can get to the fence first and control the race.
