Men’s Wimbledon Final Betting Tips
Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer (Sunday 11pm AEST)
It’s been an amazing fortnight of tennis for both men that have earned the right to play for the title at Wimbledon. The defending champion and current world #1 in Novak Djokovic is certainly no stranger to Grand Slam Finals, nor is his opponent in Roger Federer, who is an eight-time Wimbledon champion.

‘The Joker’ is a 15-time Grand Slam champion, which ranks both third among active players and third on the all-time list. He currently trails Roger Federer on 20 and Rafael Nadal on 18. Djokovic has won four Wimbledon titles and is the current defending champion.
It’s been a really comfortable tournament for the current best player in men’s tennis. He’s only dropped two sets en route to the final, although Djokovic is yet to face anyone inside the top 20 from his six matches.
Perhaps the hardest match so far was his semi-final vs Roberto Bautista where he lost the second set 6-4. However, he soon wrestled back the momentum to win the third and fourth sets rather comfortably.

Round 2: defeated Denis Kudla (USA) 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
Round 3: defeated Hubert Hurkacz (POL) 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 6-4.
Round 4: defeated Ugo Humbert (FRA) 6-3, 6-2, 6-3.
Quarter-final: defeated [21] David Goffin (BEL) 6-4, 6-0, 6-2.
Semi-final: defeated [23] Roberto Bautista-Agut (ESP) 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Roger Federer
The GOAT, Roger Federer, is a 20-time Grand Slam champion and has won a record eight Wimbledon titles. Grass is by far his best surface, although he’s not too shabby on the hard courts either. 37-year-old Federer is looking to make even more history as he takes on good friend and rival, Djokovic.
Federer has clearly had the harder run to the final compared to Djokovic, playing three top 20 players thus far. He’s made fairly light work of all challengers, with his hardest test obviously being his semi-final clash with Rafael Nadal. He played some of the best tennis we’ve seen from him in recent memory, knocking off the world #2 by three sets to one.
Federer played the clay court swing this year for the first time in four years and it looks like it’s paid off. He looks in fantastic condition and is hitting the ball as well as ever.

Round 2: defeated Jay Clarke (GBR) 6-2, 7-6 (7-3), 6-2.

Round 4: defeated [17] Matteo Berrettini (ITA) 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.
Quarter-final: defeated [8] Kei Nishikori (JPN) 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4.
Semi-final: defeated [3] Rafael Nadal (ESP) 7-6 (7-3), 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Prediction
This is one of the most highly anticipated matches in recent memory. Djokovic has a chance to claim his fifth Wimbledon title, simultaneously closing the Grand Slam gap to four with Federer. On the other hand, Federer has the opportunity to win his ninth Wimbledon title and write another chapter in his illustrious career.
Djokovic will start as favourite and understandably so, although Federer won’t be without his chances. You’d be a brave man playing the head-to-head markets here in a contest that could genuinely go either way. We believe the best way to play this is to take the value on offer for this to go the distance.
