Some massive scores in the Sunday $50k last week meant we were never really in it even though our team of the week scored over 800 points. Respectable and probably enough to get our money back but we’ll be hunting a bigger week in Round 21 as we present our AFL daily fantasy team of the week for the Draftstars $30k tournament this Saturday.
Don't forget, along with DraftStars, there's also plenty of money to be won at other Daily Fantasy and Fantasy Betting sites like Moneyball, TopBetta and SportChamps! And you can track your progress and see how you fair against the best players at those DFS sites at the brand new Daily Fantasy Rankings website.

AFL Daily Fantasy Team of the Week – Round 21
Forwards
Isaac Heeney
We’ll be half stacking a Sydney line-up this weekend with the Swans getting the favourable matchup against the Dockers at home on Saturday afternoon. We think there will be plenty of points to be had amongst the Swans supporting cast, especially Heeney who could see increased midfield time if skipper Josh Kennedy remains sidelined. In the 70s in all three of his last games but ready to go off this week.
Will Hayward
Another Sydney player to fill out the other forward position in Will Hayward. Scored 85 against the Cats on the weekend and has seen a increased role in the forward line of late. Is a great mark for his size and adds a few tackles every week. At just $7,550, another score of around 80 would be perfect.
Midfielders
Dayne Zorko
Only had the 94 points against the Dogs on the weekend but will be buoyed by the great matchup he has this weekend. Plays the Suns who are a top five team in allowing fantasy points and is the cheapest he’s been since exploding for 157 points against the Dogs in Round 5.
Andrew Gaff
Has been the definition of consistency throughout the year with only one score below 80. Has a favourable matchup at home against the Blues this weekend and is probably the cheapest player capable of scoring over 140.
Jobe Watson
Hit or miss pick here going with Jobe, however, his price tag of $11,600 is too good to refuse especially with Zach Merrett out of the side. Essendon should be competitive against the Crows who have a slower than average midfield, Jobe should be able to keep up with the likes of Sloane and the Crouch bros.
Dom Sheed
Hasn’t dropped under 88 points in his last four games and has the favourable matchup against the Blues at home this weekend. Doesn’t need to kick goals to score well but can hit the scoreboard in any given game and the Eagles should hit it lots against the Blues. 97.3 over the last three games.
Defenders
Zak Jones
Has been extremely quite with scores 31, 59 and 64 over his last three but is another one of those Sydney role players who we think will have a good game this weekend. The Swannies should be all over the Dockers on Saturday afternoon and with the pace that Freo likes to play at with the Hill bros. and Michael Walter, Jones should get plenty of opportunity on the counter.
David Astbury
85 and 80 in his last two gaes with 9 and 10 marks respectively. Is taking well to playing as the third man up in defence and has started to add a few tackles to his game every week. Averages 64 on the season but is a much better player than that and value at $9,600.
Ruck
Callum Sinclair
One more Sydney player to round out the team in Callum Sinclair. Gets the sole ruck responsibilities this weekend with Kurt Tippet likely to play back up. Two scores over 90 in his last three games with Naismith in the side so should be good for at least that without him. Freo ruckman Sean Darcy likely to be rested again.
