A woeful performance by a Draftstars team of the week in Round 13 had us reeling and not knowing where to go in Round 14. However, we’ll attempt to push on with another Draftstars team of the week for this Saturday’s guaranteed $30k tournament.
The Draftstars Big 990 Target has also jackpotted to over $22,000, so an entry in that at $1 a swing is also worth a look.
Don't forget, along with DraftStars, there's also plenty of money to be won at other Daily Fantasy and Fantasy Betting sites like Moneyball, TopBetta and SportChamps! And you can track your progress and see how you fair against the best players at those DFS sites at the brand new Daily Fantasy Rankings website.

AFL Daily Fantasy Team of the Week – Round 14
Defenders
Adam Tomlinson
You’ll notice a GWS vein through the team this week as they are playing the Lions and should be fired up after a very disappointing loss to the Blues in their last game. Tomlinson is able to go forward as well as have stints in the midfield. A value pick but has the ability to score in the 70s.
Nathan Wilson
The running defender has had a few down weeks with 67 and 63 in his last two games but is still a kicking machine off the half back flank. The Giants love to give him the ball at every opportunity so he can run and kick. A five tackle game will see him above 90 points.
Midfielders
Scott Pendlebury
The Collingwood skipper has been on an asolute tear over the last month. A slowish start to the season couldn’t keep the champions down as he has gone for 144, 125, 112 and 126 in his last four games. Collingwood are the highest scoring fantasy team in the business due to their ridiculous midfield, Pendles should get all of the opportunity here with 112 and 133 in his last two against the Power.
Jack Viney
Viney has been down on form over the last few weeks with a 98, 96 and 74 in his last three outings. Melbourne are the second highest scoring team in the comp against West Coast who are a top eight team at allowing fantasy points so there should be plenty to go round. The inclusion of Max Gawn should also help Viney who averages 5.5 clearances a game in 2017.
Tom Scully
Another player whose well down on form with no scores over 100 in the past four games. Does play for GWS, however, who have the favorable matchup against the Lions which serves as a great opportunity for Scully to find some football like we know he can. Wont be hindered by a tag with the likes of Kelly and Shiel going through the middle so should have a lot of chances.
Declan Mountford
The rookie impressed in his second game last weekend with a 61-point performance against the Saints. The Western Bulldogs have proven to be the 2nd easiest team in the league to score against so far, this season and while it’s a value pick, Mountford is a chance to rack up 70-80 points in a free flowing game under the roof.
Forwards
Matt de Boer
Another Giant here in Matt de Boar as our first forward. The former Docker impressed in the Giants loss to the Blues two weeks ago with a solid score of 85. Adds a lot of experience to the GWS team and leads by example, laying six tackles in the game. Doesn’t have to get much of the ball to score well due to his tackling so should be on course for an 80+.
Jake Stringer
The ultimate tease when it comes to AFL Fantasy, Jake Stringer is capable of some miraculous things but really needs to kick at least 3 or 4 goals to have any impact in the points department. Luckily the Dogs play North Melbourne this weekend, who allow the third most goals in the come. Under the roof where the Dogs love to play, Stringer could be in for a redemption game after some negative press through the week.
Ruck
Todd Goldstein
Hasn’t had a score over 100 in the last 3 games but is the ultimate hit and miss ruckman with his last decent game being a mammoth 148 against Melbourne. Has a similar matchup this weekend with the opposition lacking a real key ruckman so we are tipping him to go big again against the Roughead, Campbell duo.
