How it Works

TheLotter Australia is simple and easy to use. After selecting the lottery you wish to enter and choosing your unique numbers, TheLotter Australia, which is a third-party agent, will purchase the tickets on your behalf. You will then receive a scan of the ticket in your 100% secure, online account. If you’re a winner, you will be notified via email & SMS and TheLotter will pay out all the winnings, commission-free after any relevant taxes. It’s as simple as that!

TheLotter Features

You can join major lotteries around the world by completing either standard or syndicate entries. Standard entries are solo entries where you will pick your numbers (unless you choose Quick Pick) and select the amount of games you which to enter. Syndicates allow you to buy more entries at a smaller cost, but all winnings will be shared amongst others in your syndicate.

Where can I see my lottery tickets?

You can view the lottery tickets purchased on your behalf by visiting My Account and clicking on the relevant row to view the ticket on the right side of the screen.

How will I be notified when I win?

TheLotter will notify you if you win via an automated email. Once the draw has been completed your account will be credited with your winnings automatically. Alternatively, you can head over the Win section of your online account at any time.

How do I receive the money I win?

All prizes won are commission-free. This means that you receive 100% of your win once the relevant taxes are deducted. Secondary prizes will be transferred to your account after receipt of the prize from the official lottery operator. You can choose to withdraw your winnings or use the money to enter more lotteries in the future.

What will I be taxed when I win?
