NFL Week 3 Betting Tips
Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars
EverBank Field, Friday 10.20am (AEST)
The Dolphins have started the season 0-2 and will be looking to get their first win of the season on Friday morning when they face the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Friday morning. Even though the Dolphins are winless, they have been gallant in both of their defeats, especially in Week 2, when they went down to the Bills by just three points at home.
The Jags have been one of the most surprising teams of the season so far. They were fantastic in Week 1, claiming a seven point win over the Colts at home and went down by just three points on the road to the Titans in Week 2. Quarterback Gardner Minshew has been a revelation, averaging over 250 passing yards per game and throwing six touchdown passes.
With the Jags back at home, we like them to bounce back and win this one. Their offence has been dominant with Minshew at the helm so far this season, averaging 28.5 points per game and they are one of the only teams in the NFL that are allowing fans into the stadium at the moment. It should be enough to see them secure a win here.
Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints
Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Monday 10.20am (AEST)
The Packers have started the season perfect with divisional wins over the Vikings and Lions. They get their toughest test of the season so far as they travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Monday morning. Aaron Rodgers is on the warpath after some drama in the off-season and has led the Packers to an average of 42.5 points throughout their two games so far.
The Saints recorded an impressive win at home in Week 1 but couldn’t back it up as they travelled to Las Vegas in Week 2, going down to the Raiders by 10 points. Quarterback Drew Brees looked a little shaky against the Raiders despite passing for 300+ yards and will be praying that his star receiver Michael Thomas will be back in action this week.
Another tough one to call and the bookies have these two teams as dead even, giving the Saints the obligatory three point home-field buffer. To tough to separate these two teams but we like the over. The Packers have put up 40+ points in both of their games while the Saints have put up an average of 29 points through their two games.

Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens
M&T Bank Stadium Stadium, Tuesday 10.15am (AEST)
Two of the best teams in the AFC will square off on Tuesday morning as the Chiefs travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. Baltimore has looked outstanding through the first two weeks, claiming a 32 point win over the Browns before beating the Texans by 17 points on the road.
The Chiefs also recorded a win over the Texans, in Week 1 by 14 points before travelling to Los Angeles in Week 2 and downing the Chargers in an absolute thriller by three points. The Chiefs definitely didn’t look like the team that won the Super Bowl when they faced the Chargers, but to escape Los Angeles with a win was testament to the quality of the team.
What a tough game to call here. The Ravens start as 3.5 point favourites and factoring the general three point rule for the home side, that means the bookies have them as the slightly better team. We aren’t willing to take one side or another here, but we do like the look of the over. These are two of the best offences in the game and defence certainly won’t be at a premium on Tuesday morning.
