Monday during the Spring Carnival means All In markets are available for the racing this weekend, with a stack of races up with markets on them, with feature racing at Randwick and Caulfield this Saturday as well as Newcastle Cup Day on Friday.
Down below is a quick rundown on key All In markets, odds and flucs for Saturday September 21st courtesy of Marantelli Bet.
Newcastle Cup
Newcastle, Friday September 20th
Redstone Well, a last start Randwick winner, holds the call at $3.50, a point clear of Touristic. Duke De Sessa is at $6 alongside Etna Rosso, who was a total forgive in the Wyong Cup and will be a big improver on the bigger track with a more genuine tempo. Local hope Luncies is looking to give Kris Lees his second Newcastle Cup and is at $8, being rock solid in early betting.
Cameron Handicap
Newcastle, Friday September 20th
Team Hayes had a fat day on Saturday and they will look to start the week in similar style via Here To Shock in this race, which is a Big Dance Qualifier. He is at $5 and favourite, touching $4.80 at one stage. St Lawrence is at $6, a point clear of stablemate Chorlton Lane. The firmer has been Berkshire Shadow, who was a real eye catcher behind Ceowulf at Rosehill. He's $11 to $8.
Tibbie Stakes
Newcastle, Friday September 20th
Mona Lisa winner Terra Mater is the favourite for this race, looking to make it successive Stakes wins. She is at $3.80 and holds the call over Scarlet Oak at $4.50, who is a dual nominator, like many are this weekend. Ausbred Flirt is at $7, while the firmer at odds has clearly been Overriding, into $8 after opening $12.
7 Stakes
Randwick, Saturday September 21st
Despite being beaten first up in the Winx Stakes, Fangirl is the favourite at $2.50 to bounce back to winning form. Stablemate Zougotcha, who beat her in the Winx, is on the second line of betting at $4.50, with impressive first up winner Royal Patronage at $8. Detonator Jack and Hinged are next best at $11.
The Shorts
Randwick, Saturday September 21st
Everest credentials go on the line for a number of runners here. Private Eye holds the call, just, at $3.50. The second line of betting is interesting. Concorde winner I Am Me is at $4.50, but alongside him is Aft Cabin, who was down the track in the Concorde and I thought was plain. Alongside them is Moir runner up Lady Of Camelot.
Tea Rose Stakes
Randwick, Saturday September 21st
Star filly Autumn Glow faces her toughest test to date, but the market loves her and she is odds on to make it 3/3 to start her career, sitting at $1.90. Furious winner Manaal is at $3.60 on the second line of betting, with Ameena a point further back. Queensland raider El Morzillo was luckless in the Furious and is being kept safe at $8.
Underwood Stakes
Caulfield, Saturday September 21st
This market has chopped and changed throughout the day. Mr Brightside is nominated and was favourite but is very unlikely to run after racing on the weekend. As it stands, it's Pericles who is favourite at $3 ahead of Place Du Carrousel at $4.20. Fawkner Park is at $6 while Mr Brightside (doubtful) is at $9 alongside Buckaroo, who is in from $11.
