Plenty of action in the golfing world this week with three tournaments running in the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour and LIV Golf. For the first time since it’s inception, LIV Golf seems to have the majority of the headlines this week, particularly in Australia, so it’s there we will be focusing our attention for the weekend preview!

LIV Golf: Adelaide Betting Tips
Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd April, The Grange Golf Club, Adelaide
The Field
Running through the field at a LIV Golf event is a much easier prospect not only for the fact that it is much smaller, but also for the fact that it never changes (outside of injury). Some of the top players in the world will be teeing it up this week, including The Open Champion Cam Smith as well as Brooks Koepka, who is coming off a great performance at The Masters a few weeks ago.
Other big names in the field include Dustin Johnsin, Patrick Reed, Joaquin Niemann, Matthew Wolff, Abraham Ancer, Marc Leishman and Bryson DeChambeau.
Phil Mickelson will also be in action, just a couple of weeks removed from a brilliant 65 in the final round at Augusta which saw him finish T2.
The Course
The Grange Golf Club, Adelaide
One of Australia’s premier golf clubs, The Grange is made up of two courses, the East and West, both of which will be used in a composite layout for the LIV Golf event. The composite course will play as a Par 72 at just a tick under 7,000 yards, making it fairly manageable for the professionals in terms of length.
Protections have been made to The Grange, however, with the rough being grown out since February to cater for the high level player, as well as the greens being the firmest and fasted recorded in the courses history.
Betting Tips
Brooks Koepka ($11/Top 10 $2.20)
Hard not to like Brooksy amongst this field at the moment. Seems to have recaptured some of the form that made him the best golfer in the world for a few years, winning the last LIV event in dominant fashion before playing incredibly well at Augusta a few weeks ago. If he can bring that sort of form to Adelaide, he should be too good for this field.
Marc Leishman ($29/Top 10 $3.10)
Like the look of Australian Marc Leishman here at $29. Leishman grew up not far from Adelaide, hailing from Warrnambool, and will no doubt feel more at home here than any other player in the field this week. Doesn’t come into the game with a lot of recent golf under his belt but I think there is value there for an Aussie who will know these conditions.
Jason Kokrak ($41/Top 20 $1.80)
Another player from Smash GC alongside Brooks, Kokrak has been a quiet achiever in LIV Golf events so far. Has already racked up two solid finishes in the three events this season, finishing T12 in Orlando and T19 in Mayakoba.
