The second game on Friday night promises to be a blockbuster contest and a preview of what is ahead in the NRL Finals with the Eels hosting the Rabbitohs. Sitting 5th and 6th on the competition ladder, each side will be desperate to win to improve their standing. Both can finish inside the Top 4 and history shows that this is valuable for teams hoping to win the title. There is little between the sides and a win could also land a psychological blow ahead of September.
This NRL Betting Preview will hope to turn this contest into a profit for punters as well. As always, stay tuned to beforeyoubet.com.au all weekend for previews on a wide range of sport that will aim to increase the cash in your pocket.

Match Preview
The Eels were every bit impressive in the second half in their 36-20 victory over the Sea Eagles. Trailing 20-14 with 25 minutes remaining, the Eels went to another level which their opponents were unable to match. Without Moses, they controlled possession (53%) and had a high completion rate (86%). The quality of opponent will be harder here but that performance will only improve their confidence heading into this game. The Rabbitohs will also be carrying momentum into this match following their 48-10 domination of the Warriors. Leading 36-6 at HT, the result was never in doubt as they sent a warning sign that they are not a team which should be forgotten about just yet.
The Eels will not only have to win this game without Moses; they will also need to overcome a five-game losing streak against the Rabbitohs. The Rabbitohs are listed as favourites ($1.58 vs $2.40) and appear to have an edge with their playmakers present. The inconsistent nature of the Eels through 2022 could easily lead to an upset but the confidence without their halfback on the field is low. There is also the Mitchell factor; his form has been superb, and he is lifting those playing around him. Their defence has also improved in recent weeks, limiting the Sharks and Storm to 21 points or less. It was a dominating 30-12 victory for the Rabbitohs over the Eels back in Round 16, but a similar result would be somewhat surprising. Then again, if the poor Eels team presents for this game, the same outcome could be achieved. Such is the uncertainty; the suggestion is to take on the line and enjoy everything this game has to offer.

Rabbitohs -3.5/Under 46.5 Points - $3.50 (1 Unit)
