2-2 in last weeks NFL betting tips for a break even weekend. We’ll look to improve this weekend as we take a look at some of the key games of Week 11 in the National Football League below.
NFL Week 11 Betting Tips
Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers (Friday 12.25pm AEDT)
This will be the Titans fourth game in a row against AFC North competition, having won all three of their previous games by 4 points or less. The Steelers are easily the best team in the AFC North though, so this should be their toughest test in over a month.
The two teams haven’t faced in three years, their last game ending in a Pittsburgh win. However, Zach Mettenberger was QB for the Titans that day, whom Marcus Mariota is a massive upgrade on. The Steelers looked rusty coming out of their bye round last week, only just defeating the Colts after being down 17-3 at one stage.
Another week under the legs of the dynamic Steelers offence should do them good here and they will definitely welcome the return to Pittsburgh where they have just played three games so far this year. We like them to win this game at home but given the stinker they put up against the Colts last weekend, the 6.5-point ling might be a touch high.

Washington Redskins at New Orleans Saints (Monday 5am AEDT)
After losing their first two games of the season, the Saints are now on a seven game win streak and are easily the most dominant offence in the league. They put up another 47 points against the Bills last week in a great performance as it was the run game that carried them, scoring six rushing TD’s on the day.
The Redskins suffered a tough defeat at the hands of the Vikings in Washington last week and will have the tough task of travelling to New Orleans here. They currently have a 4-5 record through their opening 9 games and while they have looked like one of the better NFC teams at times, their inconsistency means they are still a long way off.
While the Saints sometimes give up points on defence, there are no inconsistency problems with them scoring the ball. They have already scored over 30 points four times this season and haven’t scored under 20 since their week one loss to the Vikings. At home they should put up too many points for the Redskins here.
TIP: New Orleans Saints -7.5 - $1.91 at Sportsbet
New England Patriots at Oakland Raiders (Monday 8.25am AEDT)
Another great AFC matchup here as the Patriots take on the Raiders in Oakland on Monday morning. After a hot start to the season, the Raiders have fallen off in dramatic fashion and now have a 4-5 record. This is a massive game for them if they have any ambition of making the playoffs, as a loss would mean they’d likely need to run the table to have any chance of postseason play.
The Patriots on the other hand are rolling. They have won their last five games in a row and put up a monster performance in Denver on the weekend, downing the Broncos 41-16 to give them a 7-2 record. Even without some key pieces on offence, Bill Belichick and the Patriots keep finding ways to get it done and with a rejuvenated defence that was arguably the worst in the league at the start of the season, they are worthy Super Bowl favourites.
Oakland will have the advantage of coming off their bye week here so should be pretty fresh. However, the Patriots just covered the highest road favourite line in over two decades at Denver so the -7 being offered for them here doesn’t seem like that much. We like the Pats to roll on in Oakland.
TIP: New England Patriots -7 - $1.95 at Ladbrokes
Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks (Tuesday 12.30pm AEDT)
The MNF game is a great game this week with the Falcons travelling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. The Seahawks sit at 6-3 on the season so far and will be desperate for a win here to put pressure on the NFC West leading LA Rams. At times they have looked like the dominant defensive force they have been in previous years but the news that Richard Sherman will be out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles is a massive blow.
The Falcons were lucky to face a Dallas team sans Ezekiel Elliot on the weekend, which allowed them to steam roll the Cowboys on defence. They allowed just seven points in the game as they bounced back from a loss to Carolina to move to 5-4 on the season.
Really tough game to call here as the dynamic offence of Atlanta goes up against a Seattle defence that has proven themselves to be one of the best in the league year in, year out. No Sherman in the lineup leaves a massive hole for Matt Ryan to exploit with a long list of quality receivers. It’s always tough to pick away teams in Seattle but we think the Falcons could cause an upset here.
TIP: Atlanta to win - $2.35 at CrownBet
