We went just 1 of 4 in our EPL tips last week, however, the winner came at a handy price of $4.33 so we can take some comfort in that. We are back to a full slate of games this week after a half round last weekend due to the FA Cup games being played. We’ll take a look at some of the key games over the weekend including the blockbuster matchup between Manchester City and Liverpool below.
EPL Week 29 Betting Tips
West Brom vs Arsenal (Saturday 11.30pm AEDT)
After a dominant performance in the FA Cup last weekend, Arsenal will look to back it up away from home against West Brom in the early SBS game on Saturday. The Gunners will have no Champions League to worry about anymore after being knocked out by Bayern Munich in the last round, so they should come into this one pretty refreshed.
Arsenal has lost just one of its past 12 meetings with West Brom, however, the one defeat came in this exact fixture just last season. The Baggies have arguably been the best of the rest this year, currently sitting in 8th place, 11 points behind Everton. Despite their 5-0 domination of Lincoln City last weekend, the Gunners have been in some poor form with back to back 5-1 losses to Bayern Munich and only 5 wins in their last 10 EPL games.
With the home field advantage I like the Baggies to secure at least a draw here.

Stoke vs Chelsea (Sunday 2am AEDT)
Ladder leaders Chelsea can add another nail to the title race coffin with a win here over 9th placed Stoke on Sunday morning. The Blues are fresh off a great 1-0 win against Manchester United in the FA Cup last week and haven’t put a foot wrong in a while now.
Stoke have been fairly inconsistent over their last 10 in the EPL with a 4-3-3 record. They have also only won 2 of their last 17 fixtures against Chelsea, the one positive for them being that both wins came at home.
It’s hard to bet against a unit as solid as Chelsea have been this season. They have used the fewest players of any team in the premier league at just 21 and I expect them to get another win here.
TIP: Chelsea -1 - $2.80 at Sportsbet
West Ham United vs Leicester City (Sunday 2am AEDT)
After one of the worst runs of form we’ve seen in the Premier League this season, Leicester seemed to have bounced back with the appointment of their caretaker manager Craig Shakespeare. The Foxes have won their last 2 games in the Premier League and are coming off a great win against Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday morning to see them advance to the final 8.
They come up against West Ham who have had contrasting fortunes. After maintaining a spot in the top 10 for the majority of the season, they have stumbled of late and have won just 3 of their last 10 games, slipping to 11th on the table.
Although they had a hard-fought game through the week, Leicester should still be relatively fresh after having last weekend off as their game against Arsenal was postponed. I like them to earn a victory away from home here.
TIP: Leicester to win - $3.20 at Bet365
Manchester City vs Liverpool (Monday 3.30am AEDT)
The game of the round sees Manchester City host Liverpool early Monday morning as the both teams will be looking to cement their spot inside the top 4 with a win. The Sky Blues and Reds sit on 56 and 55 points respectively, just ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United on 50 and 49. The trailing two teams have two games in hand, however, so a win here would be massive for either one of these clubs.
Manchester City had a slight stumble last week in a 0-0 draw with Stoke that we capitalised on, but it was the first in a while after going 7-2-1 over their previous 10. Both teams have been scoring at will all season with Liverpool leading the league on 60 goals and the Sky Blues not far behind on 53.
Both teams have been known to leak goals as well so we are expecting this one to be relatively high scoring.
TIP: OVER 2.5 Goals - $1.66 at Unibet
