Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday, October 13th
EXTREMUM vs Cyber Legacy
ESL One Germany 2020
EXTREMUM are heading into this match following two devastating losses to Alliance and 5men, which puts them in a do-or-die situation, where a loss would result in elimination from the tournament. Likewise, Cyber Legacy lost their opening two games against Natus Vincere and mudgolems, meaning they're no put in the same spot as EXTREMUM.
EXTREMUM and Cyber Legacy met only once before in August during OMEGA League: EU Divine, where Cyber Legacy won 2-0. Cyber Legacy's roster remained the same since then, while EXTREMUM decided to bench Vasily "AfterLife" Shishkin in favour Abdimalik "Malik" Sajlau, which has proven to be a solid move on their part.
EXTREMUM are 5-5 in their last 10 games which is a solid result, although they have lost their last three games. Cyber Legacy, on the other side are 6-4 in their last 10, however, are also entering this bout with a three-game losing streak.
Cyber Legacy are priced as favourites, which I don't have an issue with, since they took quite a few big scalps in August-September. Having said that, they have left a lot to be desired with their recent showings, which is why I don't have high expectations for them.
There is definitely a chance EXTREMUM can win one map, but due to EXTREMUM's poor form, it's equally likely Cyber Legacy will win 2-0. We will side with the better odds for this one and predict a 2-0 sweep for Cyber Legacy.

Mudgolems vs Team Nigma
ESL One Germany 2020
Team Nigma got off to a slow start of their ESL One Germany campaign with a loss to Yellow Submarine, to which they added a fairly convincing win against Tempo Esports. Mudgolems, on the other end, lost their opening bout with Team Liquid and bounced back with a win over Cyber Legacy to keep their playoffs dreams alive.
Mudgolems and Team Nigma have never met before, but we don't need to see any previous results to say Nigma are the stronger team. Having said that, Nigma are also very inconsistent, which makes it very difficult to trust them.
Team Nigma have won five out of their last 10 games, however, they also lost four of their last five. Mudgolems, meanwhile are 8-2 in their last 10 and 3-2 in the last five. Even though mudgolems faced somewhat weaker teams than Nigma, they're a far more consistent team and for that a much better pick here. Bet on mudgolems to win!
Virtus.pro vs K23
IEM New York 2020 CIS
Virtus.pro and K23 (then Syman) last met in May during the ESL One: Road to Rio – CIS, where Virtus.pro secured a 2-0 sweep with 16-2 on Mirage and 16-8 on Inferno. As the result would suggest, the match was very one-sided, thanks to the phenomenal performance of Dzhami "Jame" Ali, who ended the series with 41 frags and 1.65 HLTV rating.
On the side of Syman, not a single player impressed with his showings. Their best player was Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus who managed only 23 frags and 0.80 HLTV rating
A lot of time has passed since then and both teams went through roster changes, so I expect to see a vastly different match this time out. One thing to note is that both teams are in good form ahead of this bout, losing only one game in their last five.
Virtus.pro lost only to Gambit Youngsters but have since managed four successive wins over Giants, NAVI Junior, HellRaisers and AGF. K23 lost only to GODSENT and defeated 100ping gods, MBAPPEEK, Gambit and Lyngby Viking.
In a way, this match can be viewed as a Kazakhstani derby, which usually means we are in for a close affair. I have seen Virtus.pro drop maps against much weaker teams than K23 not too long ago so there is a chance we might even see an upset win for the ex-Syman squad. Bet on K23 to keep it close!
