Esports Betting Tips: CS:GO and Dota2 – Monday, April 20th
Team Adroit vs T1
DOTA2 BTS Pro Series: SEA
Team Adroit will be looking to bounce back following a devastating 0-2 loss to BOOM Esports on Saturday and it's fair to say they will fancy their chances against T1, who can hardly be regarded as one of the strongest teams at BTS Pro tournament. Looking back Adroit defeated Geek Fam (2-0), Team CR (2-0) and Reality Rift (0-2). T1 on the other side picked up two wins so far against Team CR (0-2) and BOOM Esports (2-0), while they fell flat against Fnatic (0-2), Geek Fam (1-2) and most recently Reality Rift (1-2).
If BTS Pro was a LAN event, siding with Team Adroit would be a no-brainer pick, however, here, picking them as an outright winner might not be the best idea. As seen in the results these two sides put up their matches can easily go both ways, which implies the underdogs will have a chance to produce an upset. Furthermore, Adroit looked very shaky on Saturday, which suggests they are ripe to drop at least one map here.
Geek Fam vs Reality Rift
DOTA2 BTS Pro Series: SEA
Despite what the odds would suggest, this game can end either way, as it's hard to find a solid argument for Geek Fam being priced as massive favourites. Although Geek Fam did pick up one map off Fnatic on day three (1-2), they looked very shaky against T1 (2-1) and Team CR last Thursday. Reality Rift, on the other side, picked up three wins so far against BOOM (2-0), T1 (2-1) and Team CR (2-0), while they lost to Fnatic (0-2), Adroit (0-2) and TNC (0-2).
Performance-wise, these two sides look equally matched and since Reality have Cheng "vtFαded" Jia Hao as a stand-in for this match, they should have a legitimate chance to secure at least one map and possibly even take the series.
Rogue Warriors vs LGD Gaming
LOL LPL 2020 Spring Split
Rogue Warriors are set to play their final fixture of the Spring Split against LGD Gaming in what will be a match that will hold no importance for either side, as they both won't be attending the LPL Spring Split playoffs. This is also a crucial factor to consider, as we can't expect either side to go all out and produce a performance of a lifetime. Instead, this match will serve more of a preparation for the next split - a match where these two sides will test out something new.
That will only further add to the already unstable nature of the online format of the LPL, which, as we have seen has been all over the place, especially in the final weeks. That being said, this match seems like a complete coin-toss, where both sides have an equal chance to come out ahead. A clean sweep by either side is highly unlikely, so overs bet should be considered. Additionally, siding with the underdogs gives us a great value bet that can earn us a generous payout. It's also worth noting that Rogue Warriors took one map off FunPlus Phoenix on Saturday, so perhaps they're not as weak as the odds would suggest.
Rogue Warriors Win - $2.22
